Situation: At the outset of the week, a reshuffling of teams caught my attention. I found myself without any tasks in my current team (Team Pnc). However, this situation presented an intriguing opportunity to explore the world of the "Smart Cities" team, where I started to immerse myself in their planning, getting a deeper understanding of their objectives and vision.
Task: To redefine and fine-tune personal learning objectives, build connections, enhance project communication, design gameplay loop and mechanics, brainstorm AI Theatre concept, address design challenges, and overcome game-breaking loop.
Action: Progressing through the week, I took the time to set learning goals and build connections. I updated my connections from our recent hackathon, recognizing the value of building and nurturing professional relationships. Collaborating with Stan, we crafted a concise one-pager to enhance project communication.
Simultaneously, we worked diligently on designing the gameplay loop and mechanics, the fundamental building blocks of our project. Brainstorming sessions for our AI Theatre concept continued to fuel our creative ideas.
Midweek, our focus shifted towards addressing design challenges. Stan and I collaborated on designing the building system, delving into considerations such as building types, sizes, costs, and colors. The goal was to strike a harmonious balance between functionality and aesthetics. However, a sudden revelation hit us - a game-breaking loop existed within our current concept. This discovery prompted intensive brainstorming sessions as we explored innovative ways to overcome this critical hurdle. The following day was dedicated to resolving the game-breaking issue. After careful analysis, we stumbled upon a breakthrough solution - a new road system that had the potential to rectify the problem.
This discovery injected renewed optimism into our project's future. Concurrently, my collaboration with Cristian on the AI Theatre team continued, offering an opportunity for collective brainstorming and knowledge sharing. This allowed me to deepen my understanding of the challenges confronting the AI Theatre team.
Result: Week 5 was a transformative journey marked by adaptability, innovation, and creative thinking. I seamlessly adjusted to new team dynamics, confronted and conquered game-breaking challenges, and continued refining my vision for the AI Theatre project. As I forge ahead, my ability to adapt and innovate remains my most formidable asset in the ever-evolving landscape of AI and technology.
